GROWER’S PROFILE

Jay Toews is a conventional and organic grower in Peace Country, Alberta (Canada). Raised on a farm and always looking to improve his growing practices, Jay describes to us his passion for agriculture: “Driving to work in the morning and seeing a good lush crop. I think that's one of the better parts of farming. […] You feel successful when the crop shows well. That's something I enjoy.”

MANY YEARS OF SUCCESS

"We started using MYKE^® PRO [now named AGTIV^®] back 10-15 years ago on our certified organic [crops]. We used it on oats and flax and we felt it was beneficial to our end yield. We started moving a couple years ago into trialing the AGTIV^® PULSES (now named AGTIV^® THRIVE™ PEA & LENTIL) on our field peas and we did use a little bit of AGTIV^® FIELD CROPS (now named AGTIV^® REACH™) again on organic [crops]. And we've seen good results.”
